HDMS ABSALON - L16

Last of the ships joining Neptune Warrior from the Clyde was a ship that had been berthed in King George V Dock at Shieldhall. Launched in July 2004, and commissioned into the Danish Navy in July the same year, HDMS ABSALON is a combat support ship, capable of operating as a hospital ship, as well as a wide variety of military capacities.
