A second member of Erwin Strahlmann's fleet sailed for Pasajes this afternoon, taking another cargo of scrap metal from the Clyde to the steel smelters of northern Spain. This coaster, PEWSUM, was completed in 1990 at the Damen shipyard in Holland. Like most of the coasters from that yard, her hull was constructed elsewhere. Originally named JENS R, she was acquired by Strahlmann in 2002 and is on the Antigua and Barbuda register. She is 1,960 gross tons, and her deadweight is 3,104 tonnes. She is 88.2 metres long.
