Sailing from Glasgow this afternoon was the small coaster RODAU, with cargo for Liverpool. A fairly new ship, she was built in 2004 for the German shipowner Erwin Strahlmann, by Slovenske Lodenice Komarno at Bratislava in Slovakia on the River Danube. 87.8 metres in length, she is 2,461 gross tons and has a deadweight of 3,712 tonnes.Friday, 14 September 2007
