Caledonian MacBrayne's Rothesay ferry BUTE suffered from technical problems yesterday morning, resulting in her withdrawal from service and later she moved to Gourock for repairs. To take her place, following her 1330 sailing from Ardrossan to Brodick, SATURN was brought back up the Firth to serve Rothesay once more. She is seen here at Wemyss Bay having just arrived from the Bute capital on her final crossing from the island last night. BUTE was out on trials this evening, leaving Gourock at around 1845, but after a couple of runs up and down the Firth headed back to Gourock.
