Another member of the Spliethoff fleet, SNOEKGRACHT, arrived at Greenock this afternoon, to load paper. The Dutch flagged vessel berthed stern-to-stern with another Dutch ship, the container ship ENDEAVOR. Greenock-based tug SVITZER MALLAIG assisted her to berth. SNOEKGRACHT is slightly smaller than her fleetmate SUOMIGRACHT, depicted here, at 168.14 metres overall length, and 16,641 gross tons. Her deadweight is 21,400 tonnes. She was built in 2000, by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries at Shiminoseki, Japan.Tuesday, 4 September 2007
