BATTLER

Clyde Marine Services has, over the past couple of years, purchased two brand new tugs from the Damen Shipyard in Holland. The first of these joined the Greenock-based fleet in October 2004, and is named BATTLER. A Damen Stan Tug 1906 design , she is 19.5 metres long. Two Caterpillar 3412 main engines give her a bollard pull of 20.8 tons. A full specification sheet about her can be seen here.
