Paying a brief visit to Greenock's Ocean Terminal today was CONELBE, a ship which had previously been there at the end of August. Running in conjunction with EUPHORIA, she is on charter to Orient Overseas Container Line and is now operating their Southampton-Irish Sea Express service (SIX). This service is a weekly one, departing from Rotterdam and calling in turn at Dublin, Belfast, Greenock, Southampton, Dublin, and Belfast again before returning to Rotterdam. The entire round trip takes two weeks, and according to their sailing schedule, the Greenock calls are often omitted. An interesting point about both of these ships is that the bridge wings are open-sided, although they are covered by the deck above which extends to the ship's side. Most of the similar types of ship around nowadays have totally enclosed bridges. Since her previous visit, CONELBE has had the X-Press Container Line logo applied to her hull.
