The third of the Type 45 destroyers being built for the Royal Navy is taking shape on the building ways at the BAE Systems shipyard at Govan, and is scheduled to be launched on 27 November this year. Like the first two ships, DARING and DAUNTLESS, this ship has had major sections constructed elsewhere, most notably the bow section and foremast which came from Vosper Thorneycroft at Woolston, near Southampton.
