Also seen from Ardmore was the Spliethoff cargo ship SCHELDEGRACHT, lying at Greenock Ocean Terminal. As usual, she was loading paper for the USA. Just visible on her deck are several yachts - Spliethoff ships regularly transport these as deck cargo across the Atlantic. SCHELDEGRACHT was the second of Spliethoff's Polish-built ships, with a gross tonnage of 16,641 tons, and she was delivered to her owners in December 2000.
