Taken in attrocious weather conditions, this view shows the German coaster WALTER HAMMANN heading down the Firth of Clyde past Inverkip around lunchtime today. A neat little ship, she dates from 1988 when she was built by Kötter-Werft at Haren Ems for Hammann and Prahm Reederei GmbH. She is 58.8 metres in length, with a deadweight of 1,323 tonnes.
