Seen regularly at Hunterston, but not so frequently in the Upper Firth, Jebsen's CLYDENES arrived this morning from Kilroot with a cargo of road salt for Glasgow. She was built at Appledore in 1996 for Arklow Shipping, and originally named ARKLOW BRIDGE. She joined the Jebsen fleet in 2005, and was converted into a self-discharging bulker in Poland. She is 99.88 metres in length, and her deadweight is 7,182 tonnes. Although managed by a German subsidiary of her owners, she flies the Norwegian flag.
