This ship, built in 2005 by the Sanoyas Hishino Meisho Corporation at Mizushima in Japan, is od Panamax size, and has a deadweight of some 75,804 tonnes. Her length is 225.0 metres overall. Owned by Crest Ocean Traders, she is registered in Panama. LOTUS BLOSSOM was involved in an incident at New Orleans when she was a little over a year old, and ended up aground for a few hours in the Mississippi River while carrying a cargo of phosphate rock.Monday, 7 January 2008
