A stranger arrived today on the regular DFDS Lys Line service carrying paper into Greenock. She was this ship, the 4,800 tonne deadweight TISTEDAL, built in Oldenburg, Germany, in 1996. She arrived from Belfast after a very boisterous passage, sailing again later today for Skogn. She is 117.62 metres long, and from 1997 until 1999 carried the name LYS POL. She is owned by the German company, Wolfgang Hammann KG and is registered in Gibraltar.Wednesday, 9 January 2008
