The CalMac ferry BUTE, which serves the island of the same name, was diverted to Gourock this morning on her first sailing from Rothesay, because of the weather conditions. She is seen here passing the Cloch lighthouse as she returned to Rothesay a couple of hours later. Her sister ARGYLE spent the day lying at Gourock pier. The Arran ferry CALEDONIAN ISLES also made a trip up the firth this afternoon, after being unable to enter Ardrossan Harbour. BUTE was able to use Wemyss Bay again later in the day.
