The coaster ELVITA 1 arrived at Sandbank with another cargo of aggregates from Belfast on Friday evening, and completed her discharge late yesterday morning. She sailed again for Belfast, but south of Arran altered course to seek shelter in Brodick Bay due to the poor weather she was encountering. She weighed anchor this morning, and set off for Belfast again, but turned back just after passing Ailsa Craig. ELVITA 1 arrived back at Sandbank this afternoon, and after several attempts to get alongside, eventually managed to berth. She sailed again this evening, this time for Ayr.Sunday, 3 February 2008
