SUURHUSEN outbound

Following in the wake of TISTEDAL this afternoon was SUURHUSEN, a coaster completed in late 1995 as SAAR ROMA before being given her current name in 1996. She was built by the Dutch builder Damen Shipyards at their Hoogezand, Foxhol yard for Reederei Bockstiegel, a German shipowner. Loaded with scrap metal bound for Bayonne, SUURHUSEN is a 4,256 deadweight tonne coaster with an overall length of 89.77 metres.
