One of Strahlmann's smart little coasters arrived this afternoon, and anchored at the 'Bravo' anchorage while awaiting her passage to Glasgow. KRÜCKAU, completed in 2003 at Komarno in Slovakia, has a deadweight of 3,683 tonnes and an overall length of 87.94 metres. She is one of the popular 'Rhein' class ships, several members of which are found in the
Strahlmann fleet. Cargoes for KRÜCKAU and many of her sisters are found by a German shipbroking firm,
Meerpahl & Mayer, while crewing is taken care of by a Polish company,
Stemag Marine. KRÜCKAU is here to load scrap metal.
