The live fish carrier MARTIN SÆLE was seen loading salmon smolts at Troon this afternoon, destined for a fish farm off the island of Kerrera near Oban. Well boats such as this are common sights on the west coast with many of them owned by Norwegian companies. 32.0 metres long and 296 gross tons, she is operated by Salmon Star AS. MARTIN SÆLE was built in 1996 as FRØYFISK.
