Making a return visit to the Clyde is the French-flagged anchor handler ARGONAUTE, seen here arriving from Brest, where she has been based while on charter to the French Navy as an Emergency Towage ship in the English Channel. ARGONAUTE will be embarking specialist rescue equipment for use in submarine rescues, which she was seen with while undergoing trials on the Clyde last year. ARGONAUTE was built in 2003, her hull being constructed in Romania and outfitting completed in Norway. She is 68.95 metres overall, and this 2,087 gross ton ship has a bollard pull of 132 tonnes.
