Steaming very slowly towards the pilot station at Kempock Point this afternoon, the Dutch container ship ENCOUNTER was awaiting the departure of VEGA STOCKHOLM from Greenock Ocean Terminal before she could berth. Despite appearing to be well laden with containers, most of them must have been empty as ENCOUNTER was sitting fairly high out of the water today. She was arriving from Liverpool, and sailed tonight for Rotterdam.
