On a very pleasant spring afternoon, the Swedish tanker NAVIGO passes Lunderston Bay as she makes her way towards the Ineos oil terminal at
Finnart to backload a cargo of petroleum products from their refinery at Grangemouth. NAVIGO, owned by
Rederi AB Donsötank and operated by
Brostrom Tankers has a deadweight of 16,755 tonnes, and an overall length of 142.3 metres. Built in 1992, she has a Swedish master, while her officers and crew are a mix of Scandinavians and Filipinos.
