SD-IMPULSE and 'customer'

Another of the 'Vanguard' class submarines of the Royal Navy was seen today as she headed past Rhu Narrows and Helenburgh out so sea, escorted as usual by a flotilla of small craft. Also in attendance were the Serco-Denholm tugs SD-IMPETUS and SD-IMPULSE (seen here), which has just completed a refit in the Garvel Drydock. Of note is the absence of the traditional white line around the hull of the tug, perhaps left off as an economy measure since the transfer of all RMAS support operations to Serco-Denholm?
