The tanker HELLESPONT CHIVALRY was noted heading for Finnart this afternoon to load a cargo pumped through from the Ineos refinery at Grangemouth. She was completed in 2006 as AUSTER by KY Heavy Industries in Korea, for Unibros Shipping, but was sold earlier this year in a three-ship deal worth $90 million, and is now operated by Hellespont Hammonia GmbH. HELLESPONT CHIVALRY has a deadweight of 13,185 tonnes, and an overall length of 128.6 metres. Flying the Liberian flag, she is manned by a Filipino crew.Sunday, 1 June 2008
