Outbound on Friday afternoon was the Marshall Islands-flagged coaster THAMESTEEL 1, for Ridham Dock on the River Swale. Previously one of Strahlmann's fleet, she was formerly named BOKLUM, and dates from 1989. Completed by Damen at their Gorinchem yard as SONJA B for the Bockstiegel company, this 3,200 tonne deadweight coaster is 89.30 metres long. Managed by Interscan Schiffahrt, she appears to be owned by a company based in Bahrain.Friday, 6 June 2008
