As the pier at Sandbank remains occupied by the coaster ELVITA 1, the Professional Diving Academy's dive training vessel SLEAT was today allowed, by her former owners, to berth at their Hunter's Quay terminal to load some bottles of compressed gases. This was the first time that SLEAT had been alongside her former home since she was taken out of regular service by Western Ferries in October 2003. She remained alongside for a few minutes, then left for her deep water mooring off Kirn.Tuesday, 3 June 2008
