JOHN-PAUL K.

With a full load of scrap metal from Christie's scrapyard at Renfrew, Alstership's JOHN-PAUL K. moved not down river, but somewhat unusually upriver, and berthed on the east side of King George V Dock during the afternoon. This was to allow her to take on bunkers from the road tanker, which can be seen alongside the ship on the dockside. Once she had finished fuelling, JOHN-PAUL K. sailed for Seville.
