With a full load of scrap metal from Christie's scrapyard at Renfrew, Alstership's JOHN-PAUL K. moved not down river, but somewhat unusually upriver, and berthed on the east side of King George V Dock during the afternoon. This was to allow her to take on bunkers from the road tanker, which can be seen alongside the ship on the dockside.
