As already mentioned, BALMORAL has remained on the Clyde for the past two weeks, following decisions taken by her owners to cancel sailings at Cork, Liverpool and Belfast due to forecast weather conditions in the Irish Sea. It was from this berth that she moved to Gourock to allow PHAROS to berth on Wednesday, before she moved back upriver to her Glasgow berth on Thursday. Hoping for an improvement in conditions in the Irish Sea, she returned to Greenock yesterday with the intention of heading for Belfast, but there was no abatement so she remained at Customhouse Quay instead. She is due to make three special sailing on the Clyde tomorrow to view QUEEN ELIZABETH 2 on her last visit to the river of her birth.
