ASHAHDA, which was built by Sumitomo Heavy Industries at their Oppama shipyard in Japan in 2004, was named CELEBRITY until June 2007. She is 237.74 metres in length, and has a deadweight of 105,221 tonnes. ASHAHDA is currently on charter to Teekay Shipping, and was arriving with a cargo of North Sea crude from Mongstad, in Norway.
