Continuing on her spring season of Clyde-based cruises, the Magna Carta Steamship Company's LORD OF THE GLENS paid her first visit to Dunoon on Thursday, berthing on the north side of the 'new' breakwater, while her passengers enjoyed some time ashore in Cowal with a visit to the nearby Benmore Gardens. This cruise, which has been longer than her earlier ones, left Glasgow on Saturday 9th May and had visited Rothesay, Tarbert, Brodick, Campbeltown and Troon, from where she arrived this morning. After visiting Dunoon, LORD OF THE GLENS returned to Glasgow.
