MoD Police Boats

Escorting the various ships that sailed from Faslane on Monday were some of the Defence Police craft belonging to the Clyde Marine Unit, including the 14-metre launch MILLENNIUM, seen above.

Also accompanying some of the vessels was one of the Defence Police RIBs, often seen escorting the Royal Navy's nuckear submarine fleet as they arrive on or depart from the Clyde.

Seen out on training exercises was the Defence Police launch OSPREY, which usually operates from the Great Harbour at Greenock.
