Since she was last seen on ClydeSights, the Scottish Fisheries Cruiser NORNA has undergone a slight modification to her livery, with the SFPA lettering on her hull now obliterated. In its place, the word 'MARINE' emblazoned on her bridge wing, together with the Saltire, signify that she is now operated by Marine Scotland. This is a new Scottish Government directorate that was set up in April this year and which has brought together the resources of the former Fisheries Research Services and the Scottish Fisheries Protection Agency, as well as the core marine policy and regulatory functions of the Scottish Government. NORNA was seen on Thursday heading out on her latest patrol.
