SCOT EXPLORER

Arriving almost simultaneously with AMANDA, Scotline's SCOT EXPLORER was bringing plywood from Waterford and, unlike the Danish vessel which anchored for the night, headed straight upriver to discharge her cargo in King George V Dock. SCOT EXPLORER was built in Romania in 1996 and was originally named BORNRIF. In 2004 she joined the Scotline fleet and was given her present name. With a deadweight of 2,521 tonnes, she is 81.9 metres overall.
