VOORNEBORG

Seen arriving on Thursday after a lengthy passage from Montreal, with a cargo of Canadian grain, the Wagenborg cargo ship VOORNEBORG was heading for Shieldhall. The 8,664 tonne deadweight ship was built in 1999 by Bodewes Volharding at Foxhol in the Netherlands, and she has an overall length of 132.23 metres. Her sideways launch appears to have been quite spectacular!

If that's the one I am thinking of and I think it is, there was a Volvo 740 washed away as well.

I was on this ship at that time. Crewmember... We had another cargo from Canada (not grain).
