MAERSK BENTONVILE moves to Tail of the Bank

Pictures between passing showers on a somewhat blustery day, MAERSK BENTONVILLE was seen as she passed Gourock on her way from Loch Striven to the Tail of the Bank.

With the Clyde tug ANGLEGARTH at her bow, MAERSK BENTONVILLE was first away from Loch Striven as she did not require to be turned before the tow commenced. Assistance from Milford Haven had been summoned to help with the move, and their tug SVITZER MUSSELWICK was made fast to the stern of the container ship.

MAERSK BENTONVILLE passes Kempock Point as she approaches her destination, the Alpha anchorage at the Tail of the Bank, off Greenock's Esplanade.
