Nearing completion of cargo operations, the woodchip carrier MIMOSA DREAM was seen in the evening sunshine at Shieldhall. She had already discharged part of her cargo of animal feed from South America at Southampton and at Belfast before heading for the Clyde yesterday. MIMOSA DREAM, which flies the Filipino flag, was built in 1996 by Tsuneishi Shipbuilding in Japan. She is 199.9 metres in length, with a deadweight of 48,309 tonnes. She is owned and operated by a Singaporean company.
