The latest dredger to arrive on the Clyde was seen passing Greenock on her way upriver, having just arrived from Heysham. SHOALWAY, built for Westminster Dredging in Holland by Intervak Scheepswerf and delivered as recently as April this year, flies the Cypriot flag. A trailing suction hopper dredger, she is 90 metres in length and has a capacity for 4,500 cubic metres of spoil. She will be continuing the work started recently by WD MERSEY, and is expected to be on the Clyde for around a month.
