The products tanker SONGA OPAL was seen arriving from Rotterdam as she made her way to Finnart, where she was due to load a cargo for Montreal in Canada. SONGA OPAL, built in Korea in 2009, flies the Marshall Islands flag but is owned by the Singapore-based subsidiary of a Norwegian company. Her management is carried out by a Glasgow-based subsidiary of the same firm. She is 144 metres long, with a deadweight of 17,588 tonnes.
