The Greenock call on Spliethoff's regular service from the Baltic and North West Europe to the USA was given this month by SPIEGELGRACHT. Seen here passing Lunderston Bay as she made her way upriver to Greenock, she had been anchored in Brodick Bay while waiting for another ship to depart. SPIEGELGRACHT was built in 2000 in Japan, one of her owner's three ships to have come from the Tsuneishi Shipyard. At 21,402 tonnes deadweight, she measures 168.1 metres overall. Carrying some large project cargo, SPIEGELGRACHT was arriving from Pietersaari in Finland, and would sail for Baltimore.
