A former member of the RMAS that is now part of Serco Marine Service's fleet was seen heading towards Great Harbour as she arrived from Plymouth, having called at several ports on her way north including Holyhead, Peel on the Isle of Man, and Campbeltown. SD MOORFOWL, described as a 'Powered Mooring Lighter', was built in 1989 by McTay Marine at Bromborough and is a sister of SD MOORHEN which visited Greenock in December 2009. Like MOORHEN, SD MOORFOWL has lost the horns that she carried at her bow when she was new.
